Many of us are wary of jumping onto a new social media platform. Do I have to create new content? How much time will it take? Is it worth it? While I don’t think anyone can tell you for sure, I do think it should be a consideration as in 2021 people spent more time on TikTok per day than Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube. In 2022 is was noted that “almost 40% of young people, when they’re looking for a place for lunch, they don’t go to Google Maps or Search. They go to TikTok or Instagram.”
So for some R&D inspiration to get you started, here are some examples of some Chambers of Commerce on TikTok. These short videos can also double as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, pins, or anywhere else you can upload vertical videos.
